  Did a walk in at the changi airport transit hotel with family. Was happy to get a reservation for a room. Rooms are huge and has a tv and other regular stuff. It's a good use if you have to stopover for more than 3 hours. they have a massage and lounge access as well when you book the hotel. overall you can catch up on good sleep and refresh yourself at the room. they give a complimentary or a 20% off on lounge access if you book a room with them.

  Be careful guys, As my wife was travelling via changi transit, she booked a room in T2 for her convenience as she had 18 months old baby. However she lost her valuable gold jewelleries from her bag. Once reported to the hotel management they advised that they will review the CCTV footage and lodge the complain to the insurance. We lodged the claim to insurance and later the hotel provided the key card log sheet to insurance which did not match to what exactly happened and failed to provide the CCTV footage. Even after few requests they never provided the CCTV footage and after 5 months they advised the insurance company stating the footage is no longer available. We were 99 % sure that the theft occur in the room while my wife and daughter went to food court to buy some food. Also failing to provide a CCTV footage clearly proves that the hotel does not want their reputation to be affected. Should they have provided the footage we could have thought of any other circumstances where the loss could have occurred. So be careful guys. Don't trust the staff and management cause it is not really safe

  I had a long transit thru Changi, I came off of a flight from North America, and was in need of a shower and a horizontal nap. On approaching the desk, I was told that a Nap Room was available, but that I would need to wait for an our as it was occupied. I was given access to the lounge, which had morning type snacks and beverages for the wait. Within the time stated, I was give access to a Nap Room. This is an accomodation with a bed, bedside stand and a curtain. I was indeed able to take a nap, BUT with the curtain, and the low walls, the noise control is non-existent. People were polite and quiet, but they still made noise. Later I discovered that the Nap Room seems to share a common wall with the Departure Lounge adjacent and below the Transit Hotel. Singapore Air was calling departures for flights that were in the general area. Toilet facilities and Shower facilities are available, I did not use the shower facilities.

  Clean and decent hotel with limited amenities. Nice place to stay for a long transit. Could be better in service.

  Despite Changi Airport itself being amazing. Being a seasoned traveller, The Ambassador Lounge service and hardware is absolutely appalling. Some of the receptionists are inattentive and rude. The beds are hard as a rock, there are no slippers available, no fridges are in the room and the bathroom is at a different level then the room itself, all feature I have only seen in budget hotels. However, the hotel charges prices in excess of that of 5 star hotels. It is understandable why this is the case, given hotel is a monopoly in the airport.  However, the airport must do something to improve the service and hardware given the premium price, which I would be happy to pay if appropriate.
