::A nice place to be with nature in Singapore. Easy to access and provides some amenities (potable water, vending machine, water for cleaning shoes). On the weekends it can get crowded.

::Singapore highest hill at 163.63m. Reaching visitor centre at the foot of the hill by car and there's parking lots available. Runners/ trekkers loves to do it via macrithie reservoir and going along rifle range road before reaching Bukit timah nature totally about 12-13km. Be prepared that OR will be packed with people during weekends, seeing highest number of visitors at about 9-11am. The first 200m or so of climb is very steep (a good hiking or running shoes with good traction will come in handy especially if it is raining) after which the slope gets a bit gradual.. Half way up the summit, you can choose to do it via the main route or do it via stairs. As it a nature park please be aware of snakes especially the blue coral snakes which is extremely venomous. There's vending machine and toilets sigh water coolers at the visitor centre. Gentle reminder, please do not feed the monkeys and do not leaves any rubbish behind. Remember LEAVE NOTHING BEHIND AND TAKE NOTHING AWAY! When u are around nature. 😊

::A great place if you want to be a part with nature. I would definitely go early in the morning because if it is hot, it gets really hot since the space is quite opened. You can really walk far too!

::Nice place for morning stroll. I don't work out regularly so I did not take the stairs to reach summit.. the main path is not difficult. The starting slope is tiring but it's worth trying. :)

::One of my favorite places in Singapore. This is in the center of the Central Catchment Reserve (which includes MacRitchie Nature Park and the reservoirs). There are a lot of trails here for hiking and also some tough trails for serious mountain bikers. It can get a bit crowded during the weekends as this is a favourite exercise destination for locals. I have trekked all the trails in here and also managed to catch some awesome wildlife photos. Unfortunately, the "Rock Trail" has been closed due to erosion (since I got to Singapore last year, and up until this writing).
