  The afternoon tea set provided at the antidote cafe in Fairmont is superb. I had their special Easter set. It was a little too sweet for me but still very enjoyable overall. It was very filling, I had trouble finishing that day.

  I recently stayed at the Fairmont - my fifth stay there. The trip was booked back in December and as a repeat guest I expected better service. I always stay on the Executive Club level and when I checked in I was told that the room type I usually have was not available. I was shown to a room in the old tower and it was about half the size of the room I usually have. I was not offered any sort of refund as the room I was being offered was vastly inferior to the type I usually have. I returned to the check-in desk on Level 23 and advised that I would not stay in that room and finally after a 1 1/2 hour wait, I was given the type of room I usually have. My loyalty to the hotel meant nothing, and even though it was Chinese New Year, I expect to be given some sort of priority. Accommodation in Singapore is plentiful and whilst I won't travel again at the time of Chinese New Year, I will be looking elsewhere to stay. I was extremely disappointed as I have always had good service at this hotel before. Not good enough - Chinese New Year, or not.

  Very friendly staff eager to help. Take their time to ensure an enjoyable stay. Everything is first class. Fantastic location. Can't think of anything negative to say about the Fairmont. Our stay has been wonderful.

  nice luxury hotel in Singapore. Very helpful staff as always in Singapore. Rooms are very comfortable (but noise insulation could be improved. One can hear traffic noises 24/24...) Breakfast in the ground floor is amazing. Indian food, Chinese food, American type breakfast, the choice is huge and the quality is excellent.
