Did my regular cleaning with Dr Roy Ng. He was courteous and gentle during the whole process. One cavity was found and filling was done with no pain. Highly recommended. Price was also reasonable

I want to share my experience after my first visit, I got the review online that this was 1 of the the 3 best rated dental clinic so decide to give it a try. Book an appt with the clinic and there was an available time slot in the evening at 6.30pm on Saturday. Was treated by dentist , I think it was Ron Ng or something. Was told by him after he check through my teeth that seems that there is some grinding sign so he advise me to put on a mouth guard. This was the first time I hear from a dentist about this problem, My dental check up was like usually on an annual basis. Well maybe it did not happen last time but now it did. The dentist was explaining that if I put on a mouth guard, it will prevent further damage to the teeth and finally I have to spend even more for surgery or something as treatment. I ask about the cost and he say about $300 to $320 , I ask him how much will my cleaning and polishing cost , he reply less than $100. Then I told him that previously I did deep cleaning due to gum issue and ask if needed to do here. He say he would need to do the basic cleaning to determine if deep cleaning is needed , I say ok. Then he ask me about the mouth guard again if I am interested and he could do the mould right now and collect it in 2 wks time. He say the clinic here provide a different type of mouth guard as compare to other dental clinic. Soft on inside and hard on outside , whereby others is all hard. Then I say I may not be use to it cause I need to put on throughout my sleep. Then he told me only first 2 day not use to it , then on should be ok. I say I need to know the overall cost of today visit to deicide if to do it today..he say ok and proceeded with the cleaning. During the process , he told me there is 2 minor filling and 1 major filling need to be done due to decay. Then he advise me to brush more towards the back , I told him I am not too sure the method to reach the back teeth and he say will show me after the cleaning. Finally he finish and I ask him if deep cleaning is needed , he say no need as he already clean quite deep during normal cleaning then he ask me about if I keen to do the mouth guard , I say I will consider and come back on another day if decided to do. He say ok and then he ask me if I want to apply floride on my teeth and I ask what is it for and he say is to prevent tooth decay and I ask how long will it last and the answer was around 6 mths , I say ok . During the process , the handling of the water pipe was not gentle , even if the cleaning already cause some discomfort , the assistant was not very gentle in handling the water pipe , can feel it was forcefully push into the mouth , adding on to the discomfort. After cleaning , polishing and filling was done , I proceeded to counter for payment. The total damage was $415 before gst. ($444.05 include GST) The scaling and polishing was $90 , filling for 2 teeth ($160 ) plus 1 major filing at the wisdom tooth area was ($120) , Fluoride treatment ($35) All the cost was not made known to me except the scaling and polishing. Of course if the dentist advise of tooth decay and filling is require. Surely you would not reject but I did not expect almost $300 ( exact is $280) for filling, and the cost for fluoride treatment was also not mention. Finally the dentist did not even show me how to clean better my back teeth which he say he would , maybe because I refuse to take up the mouth guard then he also cant be bother , and he also did not tell me about needing to come back for regular cleaning. After he finish his job. He just say ok, can go now. I was quite disappointed as he don't even bother to show concern. Overall I feel the experience was really disappointing and this is my most expensive regular visit to the dentist so far beside having my wisdom tooth remove at another clinic. Pls stay away from here. I believe cost wise should not be so high as compare to other clinic and the service really disappointing...

I was told the dentist is very considerate and put patient's benefits above profit. I tried out the service to bring you this review. Confirmed that it is true. Why not five star rating? One of the reception's English language proficiency may not be the best to serve English speaking only customer. I witnessed one case today. Overall this dental clinic is highly recommended.

Bad service. I go to the dentist regularly once ever 6 mths. I have been a sorta regular there because its near my home but lately the service grew way worst than I can tolerate. I remembered my dentist was a lady called Mdm Heng. The polishing and scaling went so quickly and the teeth didn't feel clean. Entire procedure over in 10min and I am sent out. How can that be. A few weeks later a tooth started to hurt so I desperately tried another dentist in Bishan. She spent such a long time cleaning and told me my teeth is not well cleaned and I bled so much due to the buildup earlier. This dentist also mention about my receding gums and spent time give me advise and pointers. So different from QM. I will never step trust this place again. All these years of going and I was never told about and my potential problem.

Had a wisdom tooth surgery on the lower left jaw on 3 Jul 2017 which was extremely costly at approx. $1.2k for the whole procedure including 1 xray and some medication. Dentist was not bad, just the price concern. Thankfully it was medisave-claimable though i had to fork out cash for the GST and admin fee.
