  UPS is the definition of inefficiency! Ordered a 25kg box, and it took a week to arrive. (Really! 1 week to deliver shipping supplies!) Last month, I ordered supplies from FedEx. Ordered in the morning, came in the afternoon. Look at the difference in service standards.

  I think getting a pigeon to deliver would work faster than UPS. Had a document delivery scheduled for Monday. The time frame was supposed to be from 7pm to 10 pm. Waited till Tuesday and called up customer service...apparently both days the courier came before 7pm. Apparently the time frame is just an imaginary scale. Might as well take leave for a few days and sit outside your door so you don't miss the delivery.

  I was worried when I read the reviews for UPS delivery to Singapore because I had just sent a package to my grandson. I sent it not knowing it needed an apartment number and the first delivery failed. I was asked to provide the apt. no., which I did. Two days later despite the fact that even then the address was not correct, the package was delivered. Unable to find the address, the delivery person called the phone number provided and was able to deliver the package. I appreciated this extra service. Thanks to UPS and this particular employee!

  Condescending customer service. I told them I won't be home if they make a delivery in the day and asked for evening delivery. They said they can't promise an evening delivery. What??? So UPS would rather deliver when I a not at home? Then managed to get a delivery for this evening after 9pm. Delivery guy calls me at 7pm to ask if he can come. I said no one is home until 9pm. So I have been home since 8pm. Looked at my mobile and saw a missed call from them at 930pm. The delivery guy called but never came upstairs. So he registered my packaged as delivery attempt fail. I called customer service at 950pm. They said they will ask him to turn back. But 40mins later no delivery. UPS your service e sucks. Big time.

  It truly is difficult maintaining so many one star reviews over the years. At least you guys nailed down being consistent. Consistently bad. If a package is scheduled to arrive at a certain day and time, (called specifically to schedule as you already made an error earlier), I think the least a customer can expect is a call or an email to let us know it isn't coming. I'm not sure how such horrendous service levels / work ethic can exist in this day and age. 1/10.
