::This is a HDB block area so this station is surrounded by the residential building. But there are many interesting shops and nice food court inside the HDB so it’s really convenient and nice place to live!!

::It might not be an attractive looking MRT Station but it truly served and still SERVING the community around there very WELL! On top of the Stations are 3 Private medical Practices, one of them who has been here about 40 years or more and does charity for patients who can't afford medical fees and he even slashed half the price or might even give free meds and consultation, that was back in the 1970s. We also have a 24 hr Mac Donald sat Blk 109, Watsons store, mini Thai restaurant that cooks up tasty meals at Blk 107 and a good foot/body Massage, a florist cum optical shop, foot and nails care, Red Man brand for all your bakery needs, POSB bank outlet, a hugh store selling handy man tools, brooms, batteries, torchlight, toilet gadgets etc at Blk 109 and more eatery at Blk 203 with a tasty vegetarian store open on Mondays to Saturdays mornings and early afternoons and useful provision shops. Not forgetting on the east entrance of the Station you can go to Lorong 4's Tim's Cafe and Restaurant serving Nepalese and western cuisines with a delicious Prata Store serving spicy Muslims food a few shops away. There's also a good duck rice store and they serve many other yummy foods at Blk 116 on the west entrance of the Station not forgetting a reputable Yong Tou Fu store next to it. Next to Blk 116 there is a KFC outlet as well. You will never go hungry in a place like this . Although there isn't much entertainment around here but the basic necessities are MET. All you need to do is hop on the train to go to either Bishan or AMK and maybe even Velo City at Novena MRT Station or head on down to Orchard ROAD to Centre Point and Plaza Sing. Its all within reach, highly convenient.

::Quite a sad looking station though functional and reasonably spacious. there is one pathetic and out of place shop in the underground selling low quality fashion items and a hole-in-the-wall 7-Eleven. it is old, u can see signs of its age and worn-down. just a neighbourhood MRT station that u wont go if for no reason.
