::50 years ago when low tide you can walk for a very long distance out from the beach front. Back then the beach front was behind the old Tenah Merah Army Camp. The Changi Airport was sitting on top of this beautiful low sea bed. You can find millions of "one arm crabs". many big hard skinned star fish, I almost step on a lion fish got trapped in a pot hole of "dry" seabed. It was a beautiful place for camping. The sea water was clear and waves were strong during high tide. This natural treaure memories will be gone forever as people like me are disappearing as time goes by.

::Still remembered how Changi beach looked like years back. Despite it being bare, and the only food or convenience store is at Changi Village, it has the rustic feeling to it. Now with all the upgrading, and stores located on the beach itself, it does makes it more convenient for park-goers but the feel is a bit different. Its cleaner, more kept, but sometimes a little mess-by-nature can be endearing. Nevertheless, the view the atmosphere is still wonderful. I'd recommend people to go to Changi more than East Cost or Pasir Ris. East Coast, too commercialised too many things going on there. Changi Beach is the way to go.

::A nice quiet spot to chill out at. It's a little far from anything but once you're there it's easy to find a spot to sit and watch the planes fly overhead.

::Nice and big park surrounded by a lot of delicious restaurants and coffee shops. Good park for biking, skating, jogging, viewing low flying airplanes, BBQ, friends gathering, etc... Our couple and my friends occasionally go there having great taste of seafood and then feel the breeze while rambling around the sandy beach. But take note that the camping is not allowed anymore in Changi Beach.
