  Went to this doctor for insurance check up. Got diagnosed with Marfan's Syndrome based SOLELY on physical examinations. NTUC took his word for it and decided to reject my application. Went to see my family GP after that and he said I do not have Marfan's but he is not able to write the letter for me to the insurance company. I ended up having to go to see a specialist, who also say that I do not have marfan's. In the end, i incurred a loss of close to $1000 just to overturn a diagnosis from this GP which cost $30 at max? Furthermore, marfan's is not a disease that a GP is able to make a diagnosis of without additional confirmatory tests. I wonder at the credentials and qualifications of this doctor.

  Dr Lau's been around for a long time. Used to be my family doctor! Still serving!!
